New/Unused 1981 model Original Equipment Manufacturer Delco® AM/FM Radio Stereo Part # 16009960. #7895307 underneath the tuning knob. 1978-87 GM Vehicles. This is a new, unused OEM Delco® factory AM/FM radio. It was pulled directly out of my parent's 1981 Pontiac Firebird on the day they purchased the car new. My mother insisted that she have a  cassette tape player first thing when dad returned home that morning with her new car. So later on that same day my dad had this unit pulled and an aftermarket tape player installed. This Delco unit has been sitting on a shelf in his shop for the past 40 years! It was wrapped in plastic and placed inside an airtight bag, where it was then stored inside his climate controlled shop. THIS THING IS IMMACULATE!   Very Rare In This Condition!
